George wrote a couple good articles about mixing that are at this website, other than that if you search the 'net I am sure you can find a lot...but rather than that, what are your questions? What are you trying to learn? Maybe we can help you here.

The concept of mixing is pretty simple, mix to a comfortable level and pan it where you want it in the stereo mix and you are good to go :-)

George also wrote a great article in regards to EQing your mix, what frequencies raise or diminish certain characteristics of different sounds...very interesting stuff.

Yeah I'm pretty much looking for help using the Graphic EQ feature provided in Vegas.

I know absolutely nothing about EQ pretty much and just use the presets provided by Vegas when I'm messing around with the EQ.

I need to know some stuff along the lines of, What kind of EQ setting should I use on a Rhythm guitar track, Lead Guitar Track, Drum Track, Vocals, etc. Stuff like that.

well, that is exactly what Geroges article is. What kinds of sounds can be improved by various frequencies. And whether you are using the Vegas EQ or any other, it's all the same. It's boosting and cutting frequencies. So Vegas-specific info is a moot point, it all applies to everything, know what I mean.

Ultimately there is no hard and fast rules about EQing, it all depends on the sound you are trying to achive, that is what made Georges little article so good, he lists them well, on the drums if you wanna do this, boost here, if you wanna do that, cut there, it's very good.

As far as mixing and adding EQ goes, heres what I do. Don't worry about anything, tweek knobs and press buttons and if it sounds good, save it, if not, keep tweeking. Then do it all over again on headphones.
