Well... I started my thermo test at 7 pm, and I finished it at 11:30 pm. But at least I didn't feel so stupid after leaving this time (the last test was 5 hours)

I LOVE GRAD SCHOOL!

Yeah, i'd be even more enthralled if the third keyboard pedal I got (two yamaha sustain pedals first) would work. This one is a roland damper pedal (which I wrongly assumed one damper pedal works just like the next damper pedal). The damper pedal according to casio works backwards to how yamaha things a sustain pedal should work as well as backwards to how roland things a damper pedal should work.

I think I'll just throw the damn thing out the window.

Or maybe just tear the pedal apart and find out how it's supposed to work compared to the pedal the keyboard came with.

Ya, thats why I like my Fatar controller. It auto senses the pedals, and as well I can set it in the set up features to whatever I want.

Casio evidently used to autodetect... grr. Not anymore though... sigh. Guess I get to grab my 'ol electronics book and multimeter and make something work. I just hate that lousy pedal that came with the thing. Seriously, it's like something you'd get with one of those $20 play-a-long synthesizers or something with bright colors all over it. Guess Casio makes those too though...hahaha.
