That's a great find, Flame! I never really gave Tuttis much thought. I'm glad there are still people around here keepin' 'em alive.

Anybody up for a Tutti collab? (after all, it does mean "everyone")

Funny story (to me, at least). This weekend, the orchestra I play with had a guest conductor - really he was pretty good, but during the rehearsal, after focusing on one section, he would say "number XX, tutti", and I'm looking at the piece and thinking, "XX isn't the tutti section, what's he talking about?!". It took about 5 times for me to get that he just wanted everybody in at that point and was just trying to sound really musically sophisticated!

Its a musical term that means "everyone"...kind of like "ensemble", I guess...

So does that mean that "tutti fruity" means "everybody get fruity?" Look out, Rudi!
