First Song in 6 Months

Have been away for a while doing video stuff. Woke up last Saturday and decided to write a song. Had it completely done by 9:00 that night.

the intro was really cool...set up a nice mood

lyrics are intelligent...very nicely written.

Mix seems good...everything fits together well and everything is clear in the mix.

nice track, I enjoyed it.

I got to listen quietly tonight. The arrangement sounds very good. Nice work on that. the drums might be a tad out front here and there. And the bass could use a tiny bit more punch, not to much. The vox might be a bit out front as well, but at low volume I wont judge them as definately to out front.

Other then that all else seemed well EQ's and such.

Man, those drums sound huge! Awesome... How did you do that? Are they real drums? with lots of reverb on them?
Seems strange to me that there is so much reverb on the drums and not so much on everything else Don't worry man, I'm just jealous. ;-)

Hey Benni -

Sound quality is good. Bass needs more presence for sure. Drums are a bit loud for my taste. Nice mix overall

From a song quality standpoint, there is a chord in the intro around 9 seconds that sounds off. Vocals are off key in several spots. Towards the end I hear that you doubled up the vocal track. Perhaps you should consider doing a harmony part as opposed to just singing the same melody. Bridge/breakdown needs work. Good start though! Keep it up.
