Effects Pedals

Hey all
I'm looking into getting a effects pedal and the Digitech RP300 looks pretty good. Any comments? Is it good or bad for any reason? Does it wear out easily? Has anything ever broken on yours?

I dont own one but a friend of mine does and I have played on it. It does a good job. Its a mid-level pedal board so you will be a little bit limited on effects but the sound quality is nice. So far his has held up just fine. Nothing broken. The drum patterns are cheap sounding but can still be used to practice with. It does have a version of that digitech wammy effect, thats alot of fun. Overall I'd say its worth the money but if I were you I would go to a local music shop and give it a listen, just to make sure the sounds are to your taste. Good luck!

dont know about the digitech multi-effects units, i own a whammy pedal, digiverb and turbo flange pedals and they are durable and sound nice.

hey looks like they are phasing out the yamaha magic stomp.

I own a digitech digi-delay. Nice petal for live use. Has tested well playing live gigs. However, I would NEVER use it in the studio. It gives off a digital-like tone that cuts through in recordings but not live shows.
