boss br532 wav converter

how the hell does this thing work. i put the cd in and nothing happens. and it doesnt say anything about the wav converter in the manual.
also on the disc it says includes online manual but nothing happens when i put it in. anyway any help would be great because i really need to get the sounds from the multitrack to the pc without burning to disc and uploading

I think the plan is to use a SmartMedia card reader on your PC to read the SmartMedia card in the BR532.

Are you dropping wave files into your mutitrack software on the PC? I'd recommend using the optical out on the BR-532 (if you have an optical port on your soundcard). It takes longer, but the sound quality is great [caveat: so long as you used the "hifi" setting when you recorded on the Boss unit.

i want to get the files on to my laptop and i dont think it has an optical in, i'll have a look but isnt there another way to link it up?

dont know about the 532, but the 864(which i have) has usb. i plug it in to my computer and the 864 shows up as a drive (you have to hit a the usb button and follow some menus in order for your computer to recognize it as a drive)
