Hey again guys. I have a song that I am working on that is posted at www.acidplanet.com under artist profile Diemusik called "path". This is an instrumental guitar song and I'm still working on it. I just wanted to get some feedback on the over all feel and structure of the tune. Its not too terrible a listen but there are a few fouled notes. Thanks again everyone!

GREAT chord progression (i'm a sucker for good progressions)...i'm gettin' a cowboy, western perhaps Texas, definately western feelin'....also kinda like there's a big showdown comming. DUDE!! you need some authentic mexican lyrics on this!!!!!!!! kinda like something you'd hear on Kill Bill 2...ever seen the dvd's bonus features? ok back to the music.
i think this one's got potential!
get me some mexican sounds (percussion perhaps, not cogas, but those wooden clamshell clickers!! YEAH!!)

Aug 03, 2005 02:28 pm Thank you. You hit it on the nose the problem I was having. The original cord progression was meant to have a western feel and I never intended to have electric guitars at all. I'm not sure how or why I started adding them but there they are! :) Thank you for the listen.

Aug 03, 2005 03:04 pm Yeah could definitley hear this in Kill Bill. I agree very cool chord progression and some real nice playing. I like the tone you have on the guitar, especially when the Wah/Phase Shift kicks in. Good one! :)

Anyway the song is my type of fav... Dark and yet beautiful! But for me, I would increase the drums level to get the song more of a hard rock's punch... Guitars sounding great esp on the rythms and Wah part.
I'll listen to all your songs..Die!
