well this track here.. www.geocities.com/ethiopian_fiyah/Bassstiritup.mp3 ..i did it on my acoustic Yamaha C40 classical guitar.BUT i low down the pitch an octave with steinberg ultravoice pitch....just a quick thing i tried.....well its the A note in this track i am mostly refering to, cause my mic or my guitar emphasizes on tha note. one or the other is not flat....but thats not the topic here.......so can the sx give a bassy tone like it or better, with the stock pickups?. i don't mean that kind of tone, just the bassy (deep and not too muddy) aspect of it...and could u just do me a quick favour, to record it, putting it on the tone something like the sample i sent, u know as bassy as u could get it and do tha same thing over or just play like a scale or something, like F minor starting on the first fret of the E just to hear how it go from the lowest (well i getting a 4 string).....u don't need to do a spacific tempo or anything i just want ot hear the tone....it will be a great help......thank u

sorry, this has been (and will continue to be) a hectic week at work. I'm on call 24x7 this week, and I'm looking at having to stay up all night at least once this week, so most of my free time will be spent preparing for or recovering from that. I'll try to get to this next week when I'll have my evenings to myself.

I was just reading this post and played the file without reading the name of it and gave me a good surprise. It's very refreshing to have someone else on this board into reggae.

Man, my band used to cover Stir it Up. I love that tune. I was the dude in the band that did the back up vox that go "Oo Oo Oo Oooooo ooo" after the middle of the verses. So much fun.
