This sucks, we haven't got any rain in like two months in houston, and all of a sudden we've had nonstop rain for three days and the city is flooded I think baytown got 4 inches in less than an hour.
Some drivers were stranded or surprised by impassable streets, but no injuries or rescues caused directly by high waters were reported, said the Harris County Office of Emergency Management.
CenterPoint Energy is reporting 7,000 customers are without power in the greater Houston area.

Jul 14, 2005 09:41 pm Take forever to build good houses, but those cookie cutter peices of crap pop up daily. I'm sick of em. They took over a beautiful section of woods to put up another neigherborhood. Man I had memories in those woods too... Oh well.
But yeah, it probably won't hit us, but if by any chance it moves north at all then it will, so tonight I'm going and buying supplies...
You know, I could probably make a killer down here by making and selling your "annual hurricane kit"
Jul 15, 2005 07:14 am Hope yer OK with these storms, hurricanes and general crappy dodgy weather dudes...take it easy.
