Do any of you have a preferred VST plugin for reverb? I've been using the Classic Series reverb, but unlike the rest of the series, it really leaves something to be desired. It's kind of grainy and pretty conspicuous when I use it. I just can't get a nice mellow verb out of it.
What all reverb VSTs are you using?

Jun 21, 2005 05:41 pm Unfortunately, It seems that Pantheon can only be used in Sonar, which I don't have.
Maybe I should clarify...what all free, downloadable VST reverbs do you use?

Jun 22, 2005 09:43 am I've been hearing much grand review of the SIR reverb. I've not tried it yet, but it's free, and you can get your own models, or patterns, or whatever they're called. Lotsa people make their own based on different rooms, so there's lots of options for different sounds.

Jun 22, 2005 11:32 am Hey, Tadpui...
I have been digging "Glaceverb". I can't remember who it's made by but if you google it you should find it. Lot's of parameters to play with and the sound quality is above normal for free plugs.

Jun 22, 2005 01:30 pm I must be missing something with the SIR reverb...I get no wet signal at all. Do I have to open one of those impulse response files in order to get it to work? If so, where the hell do I find them?
:edit:
OK, I guess I do have to find and open impulse response files to get it to work, but this is an extremely tempremental plugin, at least when used with Kristal. Its sent my computer into the 4th dimension twice in my first 10 minutes of using it...

Jun 22, 2005 01:47 pm Wow, that GlaceVerb is something else! There are tons of presets, and some cool special effects that will come in handy for some ambient noises at one point or another.

Jun 22, 2005 02:24 pm I thought you'd like it...I'm really picky about reverb, this is the only free one I've found so far that I like. It's very versitile too, I use it for drums, guitars, vox, whatever...I get good sounds for all.
