Using a bass amp as a keyboard amp

I'm planning on buying a synthesizer soon, and I already have a 100-watt bass amp. Could I use it as an amp for the synth without damaging anything or getting a horrible sound?

If it helps, the amp has a single 15 inch speaker with no tweeter.

I did that at a live gig i was mixing (shocking pinks, yea!) two days ago lol. Sounded fine to me! I was using it as a D.I. Box though....

Should sound decent enough. I would not expect any damage as a result. Keyboard player in an old band of mine used a bass combo. Don't recall the brand, but it sounded great to me.

Usually that's what's that go-to for keyboard players, using an old bass amp. People been doing it for years. I'll be doing it as well.

my only worry would be the highs...things might sounde a bit muddy, espically if you're using a piano sound or something....if ya can, go through the amp, AND direct to a PA or recorder.
