a lot of people say rock is dead but the show i saw last night says it's not. I went to see the live 105 BFD (big f$%%in deal) show, with jimmy eat world social D and the foo fighters. Dave is a show man and just seeing the foo fighters would have been enough but social D showed that middle age guys still can rock just as hard or harder than the kids today. all and all a very good show, plus my kid in my wife seemed to dig the music too. He was kicking like crazy.

Darn right Geoff.... Neil Young - Hey Hey My My "Rock n roll will never die...it's better to burn out, than to fade away, Hey Hey My My"...

Neil Young "Keep On Rockin In The Free World"...

Lyrics to inspire ALL rockers...and from an older dude.

Also, another reason why ROCK will never die - theres too many bams like me, starting rock bands !! hehehe. Just got me a drummer and what looks like a kickass bassist....at ages from 27-40 - we are nae spring chickens but alas, we will still ROCK OOT and kick ***.

ROCK ON!

Coco.

Lots of disco-influenced stuff happening on the indie scene also. Franz Ferdinand, Scissor Sisters...but it's kind of tounge-in-cheek. But it's also kinda cool hehe.

One of the more successful regional cover bands in my area is "Boogie Wonderland", lots of disco era stuff, really good (hot singer too) www.viewabout.com/bw/

"It's quiet"
"Yeah, too quiet"
Bonk!
"What was that?"
Bonk chk-a-cka-a!
"There it was again...its coming from..."
Bonk cha-a-wonk-waaaa!
"AAAAARRRRGH!"
