The clip is calle "They Don't"...i've been havin' problems 'beefing up' the guitars, so the guitars are pretty dominant in this mix...the drums will come up later, my question to you is about the guitars, whatcha think? all opinions are welcome!

lemme know what'cha'll think!! consirns are drum and tom sound or impact...too much stereo vocal stuff (and i'm a stickler for mono vox! hahahah ummm bass guitar too muddy? there's a few bad spots here and there, but it's gettin' done!

May 28, 2005 02:31 pm The mix sounds pretty good to me WYD, though the drums are kinda hard to hear once everything kicks in. They're fine during the quieter parts. The song isn't really my cup of tea, but sounds good for the genre.

May 28, 2005 02:53 pm yeah i'm thinkin' about automating the drums to go down a bit for the soft parts, and up more in the heavy areas.... the high toms sound round ad 'boomy' but the lower two toms sound dead to me...

May 28, 2005 05:25 pm Agreed - the mix is guitar heavy (which I like) but the drums are a bit burried when all the geetars come in.
The vocalist is sure as hell going for it - Im no mad on the genre either but well done for the style I suggest.
Drums come up a bit, it'll be sweet. Good bass playin too...lead guitars in the intro sound almost Maidenesque similar to the old style heavy metal stuff I used to love so much.

Jun 03, 2005 01:03 pm I really dig this track...rocks hard, which I'm always happy to hear...old style hard rock/metal yet it blends well with a more modern style vocal...
the recording of the guitars is real nice...vox recorded well too...very clean and clear and I agree...he's really letting it all out!
I think the bass is not hot enough...kinda lost in the mix...though what I did hear sounds good.
Good track.
