there's a fly out here that seems to have some leg problems because it only walks in circles. i went to step on it and this thing freaked out on me....we're talking primal fear...so i let it live...but this thing has a tough life ahead of it, should i kill it, or perhaps feed it, or let it feed something else? who am i to play god, eventhough i think I know what's best for it. where is the line drawn to shoot a lame horse (fly)? no god playing for me today, but i can't help but think it'll die a quicker, less painful death by me, than to get eaten by something else, or better yet, starve to death.

May 14, 2005 01:58 pm i had to kill a 2.5 inch long cockroach the other day. i dont like to kill anything. but if something crawly is in the living quarters, it has to be escorted outside or killed. that's just policy. i tried to explain that to the thing but it was uncooperative.
