Orchestra question

Hey everybody,

I'm a newbie here on the forum and could use some advice. I've been looking to pick up a good orchestra library but have been turned off by the price (struggling artist without a lot of money). I was at the Eastwest website (www.soundsonline.com) and came across a group buy that they're offering for their Symphonic Orchestra Platinum edition for just $1,198. I normally wouldn't consider dropping this kind of coin on a library, but this one retails for $2,995 and they're dropping the price by $1,800. I can't imagine that I'll be seeing a orchestra library of this caliber for this kind of price ever again. Oh yeah, did I mention that the group buy ends TOMORROW!?!?!?

Can anyone out there tell me about the Eastwest Symphonic Orchestra Platinum edition? Has anyone out there used it? I'm really tempted here and could use some input/advice.

Thanks,
TSQ

I think $1,200 is a stupid price to pay for any samples...

I might also mention this is a lame, underhanded way to generate interest in the group buy...please stop pimping it...as I recall this is your second time spamming...third time is a charm...er, wait, I mean a ban.

For $1200 I'll buy me a Delorian, Doc Brown and a wee trip to McFly's home town and head Back to The Future so I can save my bloody files before I stupidly deleted em!!!

In fact, I can think of 1200 other more useful ways to blast $1200 than an orchestra!!!

You using them too? I haven't actually used them in anything yet, had them for a few months, such a huge download, but probably worth it, we'll see..

...and right after you buy this 2000-dollar fake orchestra, you should try our 30-day money-back guarantee edition of TALENT! Because you obviously could use some!
