hi guys, sorry posting a basic question. i am new to home recording.
i am interested in card like delta 44. and i wonder how can i listen to the output. it says that it has 4 output of jack 1/4. where i can connect those output so i can hear the output from my pc?

Apr 20, 2005 11:56 pm You will need to connect 2 of the outputs, say 1 and 2 which will be assigned as left and right in your audio application to either an amplifier and speakers, or powered speakers. You can also connet them into 2 channels of a mixer, or use a headphone amp and use headphones.

i never knew there is an amplifier or active speakers that receives 1/4 connections directly? can you please show me the picture of some stuff like that?

Apr 25, 2005 02:34 am You likely need some converters if you want to use computer speakers. A converter that receives two 1/4" mono signals and sends one 1/8" stereo signal would be ideal. Also, there are definitely power amps that receive 1/4" connections directly. I'd assume that almost all that are made for recording or playing live do that.
