No, that was the marketing deptartment at a place I worked that wanted to be able to "add events to a calendar that don't have a firm date yet". So basically...they had no concept of the meaning of the word "calendar".
I ended up giving them a second option of listing things under the month they may be in as a TBA date and time for that listing...
That said, as a whole, on a technical level, that was the single most ignorant group of people I ever worked with. Not stupid all around, but completely technically ignorant.
I could go on with stories about those people for hours...trying to get the attention of high-salary CEO's with contests giving away small items, like any person at that level would care...realigning products constantly, so nobody could keep track, completely different interfaces styles from product to product...it was pretty funny.
