Does anyone have plans for this type of thing when it comes to building. I figure building one would be pretty easy and since I am a drafter designing it would be a sinch also...

Just in case no one does, would it be something worth putting extra work into in the matter of bringing information to this forum on how to build one such as dimensioned plans in a pdf document along with some minor instructions???

define "multi guitar rack" do you mean like a case for holding the guitars? Or a rack for guitar amps and effects or what?

Music Go Round in Burnsville has a really cool one he is displaying guitars in that looks like a case, and I believe is a case as well as stand for up to 6 guitars as I recall. Not sure on the price, but I think it's a cool unit.

You can build it... you have the technology... you can make it BETTER... STRONGER... FASTER !

Sorry . Really though, you could probably design a beautiful cradle for your babies !

LMAO...

Yeah I could go as far as rendering it...but I wont...

If in fact it is cheaper I would put plans up on this site if dB allows me to...

I never though of those do-it-yourself articles. I've done a few projects in the past that worked out pretty nice. Maybe I'll document a few when I'm re-building.

lol

Dude, $55 isn't bad for a 5-guitar rack. That's $11 per guitar! Wouldn't you just be spending about $50 worth of blood, sweat, tears, and arc-welder burns in order to do it yourself?

Wood be the material of my chouce...

I am thinking of something bigger than 5 spaces also...maybe 7 or 8.

Between me and my bro we have 3 ESP's, a Squier and my brothers beginner guitar (Johnson??) And we aren't done yet. I am finding out I have a fetish for guitars...

Its all a matter of time and saving...

7 or 8, in that case, plan locking casters into the draft :-)

good idea...I will.

I was thinking since it probably won't be mobile of creating adjustable feet to keep the thing level...I don't like things that are un-level...

hmmm-Idea #2....built in levels....lol

Hey, Jason, I was just at the Burnsville Music Go Round and asked about their rack. What it is is a briefcase looking thing that folder up, when it unfolds it's a rack that holds up to 6 guitars. It's very cool and costs $99 I believe he said.

Also, he said he thought there was one at the Roseville store as well (he is a partner-owner at both), since that would be closer to ya you could check one out there.

Just FYI.
