Hi guys.

Well I picked up a kickass keyboard for dirt cheap. Yamaha SY-55 with sustain pedal (probably standard). However, there is no manuel. So I was wondering if you guys knew of a site or place where I could obtain the manuel for this model (it's an older keyboard, so I'm not sure if it's downloadable).

Also, How could I find out how much memory the keyboard can hold and how much is being used up? What type of memory card does this keyboard use? It has a slot for "WAVEFORM" and "DATA", which I have no clue as to what they actually mean. The keyboard originally came with 64 voices, but the guy uploaded another 64 in the past. So in total, there is 128 voices.

Any help would be appreciated.

by the way, I already checked Harmony-central but hardly any info.

Maybe the folks at Yamaha can answer some of these questions:

www.yamaha.com/yamahavgn/...YP%253D,00.html

I saw a number there for ordering manuals, and one for questions about products.

:edit: wow dB, a quick draw with the actual manual! touche :-D

thanks dB

MCD64, it's extremely rare. I was looking on Ebay, the only seller are overseas. Oh well, I'll look every once in a while to see if someone in the US/Canada puts one for sale.

thanks guys.

I cant believe I got this thing for $100 Canadian. It's in MINT condition, and after reading reviews I couldn't resist. How all i need to do is learn how to use the data storage.
