Hey guys,
long time no see, I hope everyone is OK. Can you provide some info on AKG C58/200? AKG website does not list it, Google search showed no results, now all I have is you. Thanks in advance, and see you 'round!

Hi Mirza. I'm afraid ya got me stumped on this one. I would hazzard a guess that it might be the power module for one of their old modular systems, but that's only a guess. Sorry I couldn't be of any help. Good luck, George.

Thank you kindly for taking your time to answer!
Yesterday I got to play with this thing, and it got me totally confused. It's definitely a dynamic mic, but I swear it can pick up a drumstick cue from the distance of, say 15 feet, and it picks it up really well. Now, I don't blame you if you think I'm a pathological liar, I've never seen a dynamic mic capable of that. Another great thing about it is that it just won't pick up any sound source located behind it, no matter how loud it is. Now I just have to persuade that girl to sell or trade it to me. She uses it for vocals on her band's rehearsals, can you believe it?! I was thinking about buying her a Shure SM58 or some other dedicated vocal mic. This would make a great overhead, I gotta buy it since it's gonna be years before I'm able to afford a pair of decent condensers. Wish me luck with the sell/trade scheme, and thank you all again.
