Hey, I am recording a new demo on the weekend and i have some new stuff.
I would like some advice as to the best way to hook everything up for the drums.
I am running:

Behring MX 2004A mixer (8 channels)
2 x Four Channel Behringer Mixers
DBX 215 EQ (2 Channels)
ST Audio 8 Channel Sound Card

Should (can) i FX loop everything or run the kick and snare mics through the compressor first then into the mixer?
I will only be eqing the snare and kick.

So If I got this straight, you want to only apply EQ to the snare and kick, but you want to compress everything. Go mixer>(send the snare and bass out the Alt. Output, but pan the bass hard left and snare hard right. Now you can EQ the bass and snare sepretly. Then you'll send that to the compressor along with everthing else. I only got 3 hours of sleep last night so someone correct me if Im wrong.
