cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI....mMakeTrack=true

This is extremely cheap, and makes me hesitate to believe this is the real deal. Do you guys think is official, sealed and unregistered?

Cubase SE is the full program right? It isn't a plug-in of any sort...right?

Well, it is a music company, it appears, they claim to be authorized resellers, they are long time eBayers with good feedback. It appears legit...

I just looked further into it...Se is before SX. That's alright, it doesn't really make a difference. I'm saving $300 and it's upgradeable anyway.

bear in mind, sl is the stripped down version...that price seems about right.

sx is the real expensive one...

ya, i just figured that out. Im using a trail version of Cubase SX, so I'm sure SE won't be that much difference. Probably less functions, but that's alright. As long as it has the basic processes (Delay, Reverb, Distortion) ill be fine.

im still using cubasis from about 4 years ago, so i bet thats things awesome in comparison. steinberg seems to put all the last versions features in the new 'economy' version, which is cool - though i dunno if thats the case here...

as long as it's multi-track software with basic processes and plug-ins, i'm happy.

My trail version is very basic and it's perfect. I just wanted to register software before printing my audio CD (for licence purposes).

considering your wants, why not consider something MUCH chepaer like Tracktion or MultitrackStudio? Much less expensive, still very powerful and functional apps.

not a bad idea. I was going to go with Cubase only because I'm familiar with it's controls and functions, but I will look into those as well.

thanks

If you learn one multitracking app the rest will come quicker, it's still the same logic behind them

Tracktion is a bit different, and actually a very cool program. I have reviewed both if you care to read my take on the apps.

Very cool reviews.

The Tracktion sounds cool, I will look further into it.

Thanks
