Hey all, I've posted a song that I recently recorded to the address below. I would love some feedback on this. Recorded in SONAR 3 P.E.. The drums are just standard MIDI drums using EDIROL VSC plugin. Hope you like it!

Mar 10, 2005 05:38 pm Hey good song. The only part I don't really like is the drums. I think it's the fact that when I first started out, I soley used the EDIROL VSC, and being a drummer, it didnt sound natural to me. The beat and rythm of the drums are fine, but I would use a different plug in for them. As far as the guitar and everything else goes it sounds good. Good luck with future composing.

Mar 10, 2005 07:07 pm i can definitely hear a bit of steely dan influence in the chord progression, great playing.
have to agree about the drums, but i know nothing about drum sequencing, so i really cant give you any constructive advice. it also seemed a bit repetitive, maybe adding some vocals will help that, or some more solos.

Mar 15, 2005 01:57 am Thanks fellas! I appreciate all the comments about the song. And to answer the big question on everyone's mind, YES! There will be vocals, but they are being done by a friend of mine, and she lives an hour and a half away, so whenever she can get here we'll do it!
