Delay/reverb

Hi
As recently I am a vocalist in a band, I look for a
delay/reverb unit for vocal which I could use in concerts. It has to be controlled with foot switches, I mean to switch presets or at least bypass (I own and can use my foot midi controler for the purpose). Does anyone has some experience with this (models, how to plug, how to control ...) I saw some Digitech vocalist model is what I need, but also I would like to know others, for instance less expensive Behringer virtualizer, which is more like to put somewhere near mix console (aux out/in), but I want it near me on the stage, controlled by me and only for my vocal. Thanks, if somebody is going to reply

I would put a efx unit at the board and run it as an insert to your vocal channel. If you have an extra 1/4 inch jack on your snake you could use a defeat switch with that and run it into your efx unit. If you want to change efx on stage run your input out put in your snake via 1/4 inch sends and recieves and then a midi cable and controler to the unit on stage. I hope this clear this up if not we can e-mail me at [email protected] and we can try to do a drawing.

for just on and off... use a push switch to turn on and off and use 1 send on the snake for control. If you want to change channels use 2 1/4 sends ... one for input and one for output then run a short midi control cable to the unit for channel switching.

DLDude, it might but there would be a big impedance mismatch.

I used my digitech gt. delay pedal on vox. Np, just not a balanced signal anymore.

Probably its possible to use passive impedance matchers before and after digitech
