Feb 28, 2005 10:44 am take your favorite mic in the shower with you. the reverb of a tile bathroom is often killer.

Diller, your 'front-end' will determine how clean your recordings come out . ie... mics, pres, wires, A/d converters and as mentioned by Coolo, how much noize you're dealing with when you record . Proper gainsatging is also required .

Feb 28, 2005 04:17 pm You guys are too funny....
EQing made mine sound much cleaner. Learning how to eq on the audio spectrum is what made mine clearer.
If that doesn't work, you can just take it out back and beat it with a stick....
Feb 28, 2005 04:19 pm Hey, Jason, Hawkeys band is playing Renegades in Savage sometime in the next couple weeks...if I can find out the exact date, we should hook up down there for esome drinks...

Feb 28, 2005 04:37 pm lol @ vdale.....
Yeah I don't mean to be a Richard on that one...
I hate hiss, buzz, humm...and any of the other 7 dwarves at that...
I do the same thing a vdale does...I just play with the EQ to the point where it sounds equally balanced...and if everything ain't working out for me I put my equipment in the corner long enough to where it fills itself with "self-doubt" on whether or not it can still do the job...
