you need to find a convertor. .rm is real player media. I don't know as tho I have ever seen a realmedia decoder...

It won't open it as ,i assume, SF doesnt support Real Audio files.

Try this

www.mp3-converter.biz/rm-...rter-directory/

I think you can convert .aif to .wavs if you have Adobe Audition. Open the .aif then save it as a .wav? I know you can open an .aif file in Audition so I'm sure you can save it in any format.

As for a realplayer conversion, I'm not 100% sure, but I think RealProducer can do it. I know you can create .rm files with it.

Theres another method too. You can always go into your sound card settings so your recording source is "mixed". Then open up your recording program, hit record, and then hit play on the .rm file. It should record the .rm file in your recording software.

If you don't have this option, theres another option. You can run the outputs of your soundcard to the line in of your sound card. Then record the line-in of your sound card while playing the .rm. Either one should work.

Rigsby: I think that I mentioned this to you in another thread somewhere, but FreeRip will convert between .mp3, .wav, and .aiff files.

I'd get rid of the .rm.

You may want to keep the .rm file if there was an error in the .wav version (like popping sound....low quality, etc...)
