That's what I was wondering, I thought it wasn't supposed to be out until the 22nd.

Can't wait to get one myself, he's always been one of my main inspirations.

It is very nice to see some other Vai-heads lol.

I dragged my wife with me to see him years ago and she loved it. She has willingly accompanied me to each show since.
The G3 with Satch and Petrucci might be the best concert I've ever seen in my life.

Yeah, I seen him on that same G3 tour. Quite a show indeed!

I'd like to see him with his current lineup with Billy Sheehan and Tony Macalpine. Especially after see his dvd.

I'm not sure yet, but my bandmates were talking about seeing him this spring when he's in the area.

the official release date is 22, i got a friend who has alot of contacts in the industry, he brought in the promo. his parents own a local medium sized venue :) which helps, 99% of his cds collection is promos.

xtc, That's awesome, I'm jealous.

Mike, I've seen him with the current lineup and I have tickets for the April 2nd show in Toronto.

If you guys don't have the Live at the Astoria DVD, I suggest picking it up it's great.

You can count me in as another Vai-head. He completely changed the way I looked at playing guitar. What a talent! He is this centuries Paganini. Brilliant musical mind and over the top flash.

Mike, I see you do have the DVD, the G3 one with Satch and Malmsteen is pretty good too.

xtc, I've got everything he's done.
Even the Alcatraz stuff and the movie stuff. Some of it is definitly quirky, but it's all amazing.

Yes, I've got tons of Zappa stuff (with Vai and without).
Actually there is something of Steve's I haven't heard yet, his work on the Halo2 soundtrack. I have a playstation not an Xbox, Halo does look cool but I'm not buying an Xbox just for the 2 Halo games.

Stay away from Halo! That game almost single handedly took the band down at one point. I sucked at it but the other guys just couldn't put it down.
