Awesome job on mix Bleak, and may I say you did an awesome job on the music bed and the piano part as well!

This is very cool, so many different styles of playing and tones. Everyone involved did great job!

Yes, very nice mix !... you're too kind Bleak .

This was my first attempt at jammin' with you HRCers, and I hope I can find the time for more of it . This type of writing, and calaboration is extremely healthy on many levels . Not to pump-up anyones egos, but you guys are the REAL pros in my book, and I feel very lucky to have found peeps like you, and a fine site like HRC . Thanks Bleak, for wtiting this . Thanks soloists for sharing, and most of all thanks HRC for making something like this possible to come together . I said it before, I am compelled to say it again,(and again) : HRC ROCKS !

Just a couple of other points about this song, from my humble perspective :

Murphy - don't let the pahasing, phase you... spot-on solo, man !
Tadpui - Tone-miester !
WYD - What does your band think of your side project ? Also, warry-nice solo !
Rigsby - I dig the way you set yourself up... it really lands nicely .
Guitar Jim, Old Dog, Coco, and Gill - You guys jam, and you know it . heh Classy stuff for sure !
Hue - You were a quarter-note off in the second part of that A-Bros rip-off you call a solo... we'll have no more of that, mister .(Takes away kazoo.) ; )

Anyway, cheers to all yaz ! Hope to do this again soon .

Aye - I second all Hue's sentiments and, indeed, everyone's sentiments.

Everyone done a great job on this for sure. Bleak, bloody good work bud - a good bed for sure. When I first heard it, I could hear nothing, then when I LISTENED, it all come to me!!

Darn good..as ever, this site is top for such projects and nowhere else in the WORLD would ye get the same styles, quailty and enthuasim!

So, I second the HRC rocks...thats 2 big collabs ive had the pleasure of being in on in the last 2 months and both were, awesome with more than the average members in a band i.e. we managed to track and pull off 2 songs between us quicker and better than many BANDS can do - face to face!!!!! awesome...

P.S. Kudos to you Hue, ye rock yersel well man!

Whilst on thread, I plan on tryin a wee experiment ye may wanna try yerself -

I plan on belting it into the Shure whilst sticking the condenser somewhere in front but just low, to the side maybe, to see if I can capture the "room" sound of ma voice??

Then, mix them together with diff EQ, pan, verb and delay and see if I get a sonic mix! Weird it maybe, or even tried before probably, we shall see!

yeah props to bleak for gettin' this ball rollin'!

hue - thanks man! i'm not currently in a band, but am close friends with quite a few, i've shown some of them the track and they were blown away, and very complimentary of the HRC gang and their chops!

i'd be down to do this again if y'all want, maybe accually building a song instead of everyone soloing, i've always wanted to work with ppl online, and this has been my first time and i know i want more!

good job everyone involved!

WYD- My bad, I got you confused with Dansaltdog... please forgive me, as it's been a long week . Glad your peeps dug it... I think mine were a 'lil jealous .; ) I'm hip 'bout doing another calab... the calab-bug gots me too ! It's just really nice to work with people that have a grasp of how to achieve what they're trying to do, as opposed to artist full of 'vision' . heh heh Learned alot as well . Cheers, man .

Well without licking your ... Ego :)

You created a site that allowed Musio's from around the world to get together and do somethig like this.

So, most certainly thanks is due.

I hope you get onboard with the next one!!!

ah, funny guy, funny guy!

I get in on collabs when I have time...since going into business for myself, I really haven't had that luxury :(

*aargh! For the first time ever, I lost my post!*

2nd try...

I still can't believe how good that B3 plugin sounds...I'd guess that it was the real thing every time.

Just out of curiosity, was I the only one not using an amp modeler on this song? Seems like most of the solos are dripping with effects and just have that modeler-esque sound to them. Just curious.

This was a lot of fun to do. There was no pressure, and the task at hand (for the soloists, at least) was manageable enough to be fun but not tedious or exhausting. Great excuse to play with our toys, and a fun project!

I'm pretty sure Rigsby didn't use one :)

I personally can't tell the difference.

Hmm, I've been trying to see if I could tell without looking who was playing what parts, just on style recognition. Didn't do so well.

Wow, I really I like the funkyness of this joint. Really digging the piano solo Bleak (don't here to many people dancing on the keys 'round here). Everyone else did a very cool job as well. Good job guys. Very fun to listen to!

Tad, which ones you do you think used a modeler? Come on stick your neck out, make a list. <G>

*aaaaaaagh! my 2nd lost post in as many days! how aggrivating!*

anyways, the short version this time.

So I've been called out, eh? :-)

I think that 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 10 are all digital.

3 and 7 are the only ones I'm not sure about, but I'll go with digital on them as a hunch.

Well your right on number 2, surprise! :) The rest I really couldn't tell ya for sure.

I just might try mic'ing my amp on the next thing I do just for heck of it, to see if it makes any difference. Here's some trivia though I do have one song I did that is all through my amp, and it's on HRC, can you guess which one?
