quick question on bass amps.

hey. i have a Yorkville BassMaster XM100 amplifyer. I know what all the controls do except one. its a control called "Scoop" now im not quite sure what this does. If anyone knows what scoop does, could they please post the answer or there thoughts. sorry if this has been asked before. thanks

likely it scoops the EQ pulling out the mids to accentuate the highs and lows also making it interfere less with the guitar in the context of a mix.

okay thanks.
i noticed it brought more off a rumble and treble to the bass. i dont know if that makes sense. i turned on the scoop and i liked the sound.
