Feb 03, 2005 05:14 pm i do most of my bass in mono, with the occasional Toolish stereo chorus for certian parts....as for percussion it all depends on how much room you have in the mix. like if you're recording a 12 piece gosple band then the percussion will prolly end up mono, but if there are say 5 tracks total, then you can afford to pan them out some....
