i've got a friend who wants a 1U rack compressor for his bass rig....it's gonna be used for live applications. i just wanted to see if y'all had any recomendations. he's not wanting to go the multi-effects route, just a dedicated one channel compressor. roughly in the less than $200 price range.
thanks

Feb 01, 2005 12:18 am There are a ton of them out there. MF has a few that fall in that price range from Behringer, Yamaha, and Alesis in their latest sale catalog. Most are two channel, although you might want to check out the Behringer Ultramizer Pro, DSP1424P. It is a multiband program adaptive cpomresser with limiting. It has some features that probably will not apply, but the multiband compression may come in handy.
