When I try to record from line-in 3/4 (for example), og from a mic, The input I get i mono.

If I try to record an external stereo device - only one of the device's to channels is received. I do so hope that nothing is wrong with my brand new soundcard ...

Please help me.

iirc, there's a setting for 'record two mono tracks as stereo'. course this is in n-track, but i'd guess other software would be similar. Also, like wyd said, you would have to have the two signals broken out to two channels going into the card. like 3 & 4 like you mentioned. You can't record stereo into one channel of the delta.

Well, a mic is really mono, unless you have a stereo mic that is. Or are using 2 mics, as wyd stated going into inputs 3 and 4.

Erik we really could use a bit more information on the gear set-up you have as well to help things along here.

Are you routing your mic through a mixer? What software are you recording with? Things like that will help get you hooked up right.
