Jan 14, 2005 04:28 pm I use this free kit. I love it! It's nice and natural sounding, with many, many velocities for each drum piece so you can find the hit that suits your situation, as well as add dynamics to your piece without relying on the aritficial sounding drum machine velocity, which just varies the volume of the sound instead of varying the actual characteristics of the drum as it is hit harder and harder.

Jan 14, 2005 04:49 pm Actually, the cymbals are the reason that I d/l that NaturalStudio kit in the first place. I think that if you back off from the hardest hits, they sound very nice, with a not-too-abrasive attack and a very clean decay.
It includes an 18" crash, a 15" crash, a ride with both bell and regular hits, a china, a splash, and open, pedal closed, closed, and top-hit high-hat samples.
