What do I need?

Im on the hunt for a sound card and Im considering the new Audiophile 192 but I really don't know if it has enough for me
Here's my future set up and based on it please advise me what im looking for in a sound card
(Im new 2 this so please bare with me)
Audio Interface: ????
Mixer:Eurorack UB 1204
Monitors: ????
Preamp - PreSonus Eureka
Microphone - SHURE KSM 27
MIDI Keyboard/Controller - Evolution Mk-449c usb
Headphones - Sony Pro MDR-7506
Turntables,dj style mixer,and God knows what in the future ......?????????
Im producing Hip Hop so I wont be needing to mic drums etc but I would like to incorperate electric guitar and Bass into my beats but all that plugs in to the pre amp right?
also Im wondering if u could tell me where and what kind of cable connects mts mt preamp to my sound card?
Mic/Bass/guitar >preamp>????(whhat kind of connecter)sorry I really am but im just learning!
ps same with monitors where do they plugin ?

the 1204 has 2 subgroup outs, so any 2-in 2 out card like the 192 will work fine...

As far as what cables to use, well, just look and the ins and outs of the gear and use common sense, if they all have 1/4" jacks then use that kind of a cable, if one has RCA's get one with 1/4" on one end and RCA's on the other...

monitors plug in to an amp, which is feed by an output of your sound card or mixer it depends on how you wire everything.

preamp? do they plugin to the sound card? don't mean to be dumb sorry

Speakers need an amplifier to power them, with active speakers the amp is built in, with passive (most common typically) you need an amp for them.

Preamp is a totally different thing.

We have been thru this MANY times on the forum, search some stuff out and read the FAQ's, this has all been covered very often.

ok sorry i just didn't want to get a sound card that wasn't capable of doin what I wanted
