Is there any type of machine that I can buy that has recorded sounds that I can use in my recordings? I'm looking for applause and laughter. Isn't everybody? Now that I read that it sounds stupid.
Anyway........I want to record as if I am entertaining thousands of people and add applause...........and laughter....and any other effects that would enhance the recording.
Does anyone know where I could get something like this?................Without actually performing for thousands of people?

Uhmm I'm not sure about fx machines but there are plenty of sound effects out there on web for free or on cd's for minimal $$$ I guess you could call these sound effects samples but you don't neccessarly need a sampler you can just insert them were you desire in your recording app yup thats my 2 cents hope it helps

Here is one quick link ro a place that has a pretty good variety of free samples. Cant gaurantee applause and such but they have a big selection. www.stonewashed.net/sfx.html
Anyway, on the left you will see a nav button called RecordingDirectory.com, that is our links directory and if you look for the Samples catagory there are several there, and several other free ones as well.
