Dec 30, 2004 04:35 pm Dunno aboot rap vocals but I just unpacked my split new B1 today and it kicks some ***!!
Love the sounds I get so far and its only been a few hours.
I previously recorded EVERYTHING using an SM58 and lots of ooomphh! Now, I think, I have the perfect companion (price wise at least) with my trusty SM58.
Sorry, I know thats strictly not answering your question for rap but for vocals, I am happy with it. After years of dynamic mics only, its a breath of fresh air.
Good luck to ye
Coco.
Dec 30, 2004 06:51 pm im not positive but vocals are vocals
and this is comming from a rap artist as well
so don't trip just try to find a good mic in general there is good mics for $100-$150 but
if you can try to get sumthin even better im investing in a SHURE KSM 27 this seems to be tha bomb but it's a little expenseive but for a rap artist vocals are if not the most one of the most important things so invest in a good mic there is plenty to choose from so look around on the web theres lots of options
