first off I'd like to say I did my research but am not able to find any info so I thought I'd ask you guys....ok here it goes
1st-is the built in "mixer" software or....?
Do I absolutly have to use it can I disable it?
2nd-Multiple preamps is this possible cause im thinkin I wanna add a eurorack UB 1204 as a front end but I also plan on getting the PreSonus TubePre so can link these MIC -Tube PRE -micpre on MIXER - OMNISTUDIO and will it improve the quality of my recordings?
Make sense?

Dec 23, 2004 06:41 pm The built in mixer software is presumably just the driver control panel...and no, you can't disable it if that's the case...
If you get the presonus, don't bother using the mixer, just run the presonus straight into the card...

probably a stupid question but just for kicks
would multi preamps improve the signal?
like lets say joe blow had 2 or three and he ran his mic threw all of them b4 it got to the card would they notice a decrease or increase in performance?
Dec 23, 2004 06:54 pm I dunno, never done it, but I can also see that many patch cables increasing the chance of introducing noise too...
