OH MY GOD! I cant believe this stuff is for FREE! The DS-1 and SD-1 are decent. The Tubescreamer would be perfect to add a hint of break-up to a finished track. The Univibe is GREAT! But far and away, the gem of the bunch has GOT to be the JCM900. I applied the JCM900 VST to a clean guitar track of mine, turned it to channel B and tweaked for a minute and was ASTOUNDED! Thanx one helluva lot for that link db.

I've been using that JCM900 sporadically for a coupla years now..... i love it too. Even for a knowledgeless-guitar-man like me, it's very easy to twiddle about and come up with what sounds like a great tone.

I will testify to this.. bloody good plugs these are.I have been using this for a good while now and I love it (think Noize put it in the links section??) - good call dB - its kickass, especially the JCM900...

its top. Its a shame, I contacted the guys who are doign it and apparently the new version (vintage) stuff aint goin ahead due to their reosurces...real shame.

Sometimes I like to run Native Instruments B4 (organ synth) through the Fender Twin copy, it gives a good cruch sound when I want that screaming Hammord B3 rock sound. Decent stuff. Awesome for free.

I'm back bitches!!!

I was not overly impressed with Amplitube so I will definately give this a try. The only problem is that I don't play guitar and getting my bands guitarist to try stuff like this is like trying to tell my dog to not get into the trash.
