I thinks it Db masters. I am not sure, but I hope you are careful with this website, as I have a MV800 and I was on the mvnation.com site and it has been hacked into, and as of now it can't be accessed at all and I understand all the post are gone:(..It was a great site with awesome people like I have found in this site, so I hope all secutity measures have been taken so that doesnt happen here,,just thought I would give you the info, to be on the safe side...

Dec 22, 2004 09:26 am Yes, many, many sites have been hacked in to that use the PHPBB message forum. PHPBB is notorious for lack of security and vulnerability to attacks. MANY web sites are down, some have been hacked and some smart hosts, like HostPC, are disabling PHPBB forums on all their servers until people upgrade. It's not random at all, it attacks any PHPBB forum it finds.
Thanks for the alert and your concern wolfman, I appreciate it. This forum, and this entire site is hand-coded by yours truly, there is not another site like it, therefore, the likelihood of that sort of automated worm attacking HRC is unlikely. But, security is always a concern of mine, I learned of a potential hole in HRC a few months back and took preemptive measure to stop it BEFORE anyone used it. I continue to audit the site.

That 1% is a *****...
This is not actually an exploit of just that forum, but a hole in that forum that gets to the PHP server itself, which HRC also uses, but hopefully I have enough armor on this site, and input security so as not to have that problem here.
The trouble with things like those freely available forum is that if one person finds a hole, it's easy for them to break in to thousands of sites that use it. A site like this, which is pretty much one of a kind, makes it not worth their time...let's hope...
