I don't understand what you are saying...if you record something it picks up the beat that it hears from your headphones leaking? Is that what you mean?

You should use a line out, not a headphone out, to go into your mixer. Besides that, on a mixer with no sub-outs, the feed should not be coming back into the mixer at all.

I'm not exactly sure what you're describing here, so I'm going to take a stab at it...

Im assuming that you mean that your microphone is recording the sound "leaking" from your headphones.

Are you using closed-ear headphones made for recording?

If not -- then it'd be best to buy a pair of monitoring headphones because they tend to not let as much sound escape to be picked up by your mics.

If so -- then you're just going to have to turn down your monitoring volume.

That must be what he meant Tadpui, cuz thats then what we both understood, and we are both brilliant people, so it must be right :-)

Yeah hes got bleeding going on...

I had that problem early on when I started fooling around...

It could be the phones, it could be the monitoring volume, it also could be that the channel you have assigned coming in from the soundcard has a volume set too high...

but take these two guys advice first and mine wont matter...

I am still brilliant also

I figured that the brilliance was assumed in each and every post. From now on, I'll be sure to assert my brilliance at the top of each post, just so there are no questions.

lol thanks for all the advice, allow me to explain in more depth.

say i don't have the speakers or headphones plugged in an i pressed record it will still pick it up..But, to make the feedback not as loud i have to turn down the line-in '5/6'(behringer ub1202) on my mixer which i have the input from headphone plug on my soundcard coming into, lowering the volume of the 5/6 lowers the volume in my headphones an also lowers the feedback, but it's not a leaking problem because i tried recording with out the headphones with 5/6 up a quater way an i cudn't hear anything but it picked it up in recording..

hopefully that helps use a bit more to help me :)..thanks alot for your time also i really appreciate the help..

There's your feedback-loop, Provokal . You should be running your sound cards "headphone-out" into your headphones/speakers . As dB was saying...
