Dec 09, 2004 06:46 am I actually put in an app yesterday, more than anything just to see how the hell a big site like that goes about selecting people and stuff like that, never really intended to take the job, I just applied for educational reasons...but they already picked someone, I guess I'll never get my education.

Feb 10, 2005 06:35 pm Note the date of my post here, Dec 9 I said I submitted an app just to see what they would say. Well, it's Feb 10th and I just got notice they rejected me for one of two reasons.
either they wanted other qualification or they didn't like my writing style.
Hmmm, kinda sad to find out after all these years I am not qualified to moderate a home recording site.
I guess I'll have to shut down HRC after all...

I, for one, will not stand for this. Whether or not you meant this as a joke, it was in poor taste that you should mention such a thing. Now, no one enjoys a joke more than me - in fact I have a reputation here at the library for my jocularity come the holidays - but this has to stop.
I must forewarn you that a petition will be circulated at the merest hint of such a closure. HRC is an important part of my life. I am, I admit, a sad little man, so I do depend on this site for so much.
