Sounds very good to me, especially for a live recording.

Mondoman,

This is quite good! I listen to an awful lot of bluegrass, and this sounds right up there! Considering the fact that you recorded live, it's even more impressive.

My only other comment would be that the banjo kind of sounds far off in the distance. Maybe you should experiment with mic placing, etc, to get a more up-front feeling.

Overall, a great first attempt! I can't wait to hear more from your band!

I'm with Jim on this one for sure. If you recorded taht live at rehearsal You definately got an excellant sound. The double sounds right as it should. The drums are settled gently behind the banjo and bass. The vocals come on strong at certain points and do burry the banjo as Jim said in spots.

Otherwise very good tune indeed.

oompah, I'm really digging this. I think this is a very cool song. If you're looking for comments, I'd say the vocals are a bit up front, though I don't really see it burying the banjo so much, just kind of in your face. Really good for a practice session. Keep it up.

This is beautiful music. I love it. I feel a little out of my element commenting on bluegrass music, having little to no experience with it, but as for the music - well sir, I listen to a lot of good music, and this is good music. Really great recording as well, for live. The playing was tight and the song was catchy and soulful. I liked the mix too, maybe it could have been tweaked so the banjo was closer but I really have to be listening hard to come to that conclusion.

Totally oustanding work!
