problem with m-audio delta 66

hi all,

I have an m-audio audiophile 2496 and recently added a m-audio delta 66. I'm running Win2000.

However, at every reboot, the delta card gets redetected (as a 'new' multimedia controller) and I have to reinstall the drivers.

Anyone seen this behavour before? Could IRQ sharing be a problem. I have ACPI enabled. It seems that the delta shares IRQ 18 with my network card.

Welcome to HRC.

Though I have rarely heard of M-Audio having issues with sharing, it's a good practice to keep them on their own. Try to get your network card down on a low IRQ, 5,7 something down there...cuz it's a very low resource device.
