anyone use 'biofeedback' for composition?

hey, newbie here. Anyone use bio/neurofeedback machines for composing music? The only info i can find on them is by the people selling them. What can you do with them, how versatile and useful are they? Can you link me to more info on the subject?

I don't know, I've never tried machine like that really... I've heard that biofeedback machines can actually improve natural musical abilities - not as in, I heard it at the counter at the new age store... I mean I read an article that said a team at a famous English university (whose name I don't recall) found through testing that daily use of biofeedback machines typically tended to help students improve their musical performance abilities by, as they put it, a whole grade. As in from B to A.

Now, I haven't actually tried this myself. But it was a convincing article... :) I wrote to the university for information on the results of the tests and the type of biofeedback machine used, but never got a response. oh well.
