Does anyone know if there are actual software versions of guitar effects pedals?
Im buying an electric guitar for recording and could do with saving some money of guitar pedals
Thanks

Nov 22, 2004 07:02 am I Submitted some links here a while back for guitar plugs (Which are free) - they are not fancy but the quality is excellent. Modelling a JCM800 and a ton of boss effects plugs...
Check the links section here.
Also, cehck the review dB posted...very informative.
Finally, look at Amplitube which is most excellent...
Cheers

Nov 22, 2004 12:03 pm native instruments guitar rig is the one i would get. i think. it looks like it should be the most exhaustive with its possibilities but the demo seemed sketchy at times
these things in this post are mostly amp modelers, which might not be what you mean. they have a few effects built in, though.

And yeah, on the more expensive side, GuitarRig looks pretty friggin sweet too.
