I just got a 64 bit Hp computer. It has RCA IN, not out, in addition to the regular sound blaster card.. I will be gettin the audiophile 2496 soon, but til then I need help..
On my mixer, behringer 802, would I do MAIN OUT to LINE IN on my computer.. or TAPE OUT to the RCA IN on my computer?

Thanks again. Peace

Definately use the main outs on the 802. Now per inputs; there I can't help a lot. Line in is a safe choice as it is the correct level match to the main outs of the 802, but I don't have any idea what the rca jacks in are all about.

Sorry, hope this helps a little.

Are you sure the "RCA" in is analog? S/PDIF digital jacks look just like RCA plugs. What device has this RCA jack? It's not the SoundBlaster? Built into the motherboard or what?
