Check out section 4.4.4 of the manual for your mobo here:
and see if it helps ya out with enabling/disabling your onboard audio.

Iím looking to use my moboís onboard sound for DVD watching, but use my M-Audio Audiophile PCI card for everything else. I have a program that decodes DVD Dolby Digital surround and I have a surround system. My mobo (Asus P4P800-E) has six channels out for each speaker.
When I built the computer, I installed the Audiophile and on initial startup, it detected it and everything has been great. Now I canít seem to find my moboís onboard audio at all. It isnít in the deice manager and (although I havenít looked that hard) I canít find it in the BIOS.
I just want to be able to toggle between the two playback systems for when I watch DVDs/make movies, and when I am mixing/listening to music. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks in advance!
