Im using cakewalk pro audio 9, and i never tried this before, so i overestimated it. but how do i mix down as mp3 when my song has both midi and audio. i mean, the mixdown tool only works with audio, so when i mix down and play it in a winamp or such, theres only teh audio...

Nov 12, 2002 09:37 am You have to convert your MIDI tracks to audio.
In Pro Audio:
1.- Arm an audio track
2.- In your soundcard's record properties select MIDI (and deselect line-in, mic-in and what you hear)
3.- Play your project depressing the record button
Your MIDI is now audio and you're ready to mix!!
