Anyone here run or have any input on this device. I need a guitar modeler (no, not a skeletal female with drab clothing holding my ESP)...

Something like this would suit me but before I dive in about $200 I wanted to ask you good people here on HRC...

I use the VAMP now almost exclusively with Amplitube...when I first got the vamp I got a little disheartened.

As soon as I got the PC software (Free) and connected the MIDI, I could get (easily) into the presets and I am now delighted.

You can easily conrol the hardware with midi and make some awesome amps with effects.

Almost all my songs are being crafted by VAMP just now. I've just laid down a track last night (2 in fact) using 3 amps - all different sounds - perfectly complements eachother. With ease, I can now find "that" sound...great.

I have the VAMP2 (£99 - $199) but for the buck, yi canny go wrong. I would like the rack mount version but have no need other than being able to take my vamp giggin and leave the rackmount int he studio..I still may do this.

I'll be posting a track soon made with the VAMP and most all my guitar tracks (you can hear in ma profile) were VAMP'd!

If yi wanna hear how it sounds...

Alternatively, nip onto the Behringer site - there are samples on there too.

Good luck

Coco.
