Mac OSX app needed to preview audio files quickly and easily

"Instant Player" is an app that allows you to preview any type of audio file (wav, aiff etc) at the press of a button. (Mac OS9)

I used "Instant Player" under Mac OS9.x for ages. Now I've made the move to OSX it works really badly under Classic mode.

Can anyone recommend an app that allows you to preview many audio files really quickly and easily?

Have you thought about just using Quicktime. Even the free version does most audio formats I do belive. It is not as quick loadig as some apps but it is an Apple made product so should run smoothly on your Mac.

Otherwise I think if you look in our Recording Directory there are several players there and some of them are also availabel in the freeware section as well.
